I have a Barco 1209S and a small adjustment problem.
How do I adjust the vertical grid in place. The horizontal has been successful.
How to move the lenses up and down?
Best Regards,
Ari

Why do you need to move the lens up & down? do you have a convergence problem?
You don't need to move the lenses up and down for proper projector adjustment, since the green red and blue guns are in the same vertical position.

Hi opv
Therefore, the red and blue line is higher up than green.
I move the Red and Blue lens left and right So that the vertical lines are completely overlapped
but the horizontal lines are not overlapping.

Not sure if the 1209 is the same as the 808 but have a look here: http://www.curtpalme.com/Barco808_Layout3.shtm

It shows you the Red master vertical trim pot and the Blue master vertical trim pot as shown on the 808 your 1209 may be similar.

It's normal, there is no problem here.
The vertical convergence is electronic, you adjust it using the RC.
Go to convergence under random access menu.

Itīs look like this: http://curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17520
electronic adjustment is not enough.
However, thanks to the help.

There are potentiometers inside the PCB bay which you can use to shift the raster on blue and red.

You should reset convergence raster shift to 50/50 and use the potentiometers inside to center the raster on your tube!

Thank you opv, AnalogRocks and fragzero, the convergence problem is solved. But there are two more.
First: electronic focusing is not enough. I have made optical lens focus but
raster is not sharp, and when I adjust the focus using the remote control, scale is not enough. Raster becomes sharper, but not enough. Red, Green and Blue is the same situation
Another problem is the aspect ratio. It is mainly the 9:16 and not 16:9 as it should be.
The image is narrow and high.

inssi,
Regarding the aspect ratio, adjust the H size and V size in the geometry menu.
If the H size runs out, you may have to play with the source timing and maybe add some width in the SMPS sub board.
As for the raster sharpness, you first have to understand weather it's an optical issue or an electronic one.
If it's an electronic focus issue, it may be related again to the source timing.
You can adjust the timing, porches, using a PC as a source or by using a video processor.

Hi opv
The focus is electronic problem, i think.
When i adjust a mechanical focus, a raster is quite soft. Electronic focus making a raster much sharper so problem is not lenses.
