So, I've got a pair of Definitive Technologies THR-BP1 for mains, and a Totem Mite-T-C center speaker, being driven by a Panasonic SA-HE75 pure digital amp... using a regular CD being played by a Seiki BD660...and OH MAN !

Its like the hey day of the late '80's Rotel stuff driven by a great turntable and vinyl are reborn !

I can't believe how dynamic and 'live' sounding this dumpster saved setup sounds ! I couldn't get $200. for all this stuff on kijiji, but it SOUNDS better than the top of the line stuff from my youth(which sounded pretty damn good...)....

Sorry, I just had to post to a group that might appreciate this, my wife shrugs and rolls her eyes, hahaha....

Only drawback is I have to use the remote to adjust the volume as the knob on the Panasonic has given up the ghost, a good disassemble and cleaning will likely remedy, but for now, the remote works....

PS: Someone actually thew this Panasonic out, likely because of the Volume knob issues, but they THREW IT OUT, instead of taking 20 minutes to clean it......and it sounds sooooo good....I don't get people....

PSS: Here's one more for actually deciding for one's self, this receiver was derided by many because of its "direct digital" circuitry, I can't imagine they actually LISTENED to it, shockingly good sounding receiver, shockingly good...

PSSS: Can't wait to hear what my recycling center Celestion Ditton's sound like on this rig !

DT's. I assume he doesn't have the Delirium Tremens so he probably means the Definitive Technologies. What are you using to drive them, and how much power do they like to eat?
