I havent finished setup yet, but ill get to that soon.

Had to move the projector back alot cause the new screen is somewhat wider.

Yeah mate the contrast and brightness settings are now abit lower, using more tube width, picture is amazing.

Im now keen to go with a couple projectors and build a new room, probably go a 4.5 meter wide 2.35 screen, but itll be a while off.

Yep, Sherwood turntable there, awesome sound!!

Not as much reflection as youd expect, all those on the right are Master System and Mega Drive games. No where else for them to go cause my home isnt really very big.

Those speakers look quite low, but are pretty close to ear heightwhen laying back in the lounge to watch a movie. The tweeters are angled toward the listening position anyway.

I suspected that the tweeters were adjustable from the look of them, Which speakers are they??

Only thing left to do now is set up for 3D, but im still yet to find out what timings people were using for 1920x1080 @72Hz to get rid of that minor ghosting the nVIDIA glasses seem to have on a CRT.

Someone did say ( think is was NoosXP ) something about adding 100 inactive lines to the bottom of the image, which would almost certainaly go close to fixing it, but i am not sure what setting they are changing to do this.

Got the lense flapping dialed in last night and that too was way easier on this screen. The astig is abit out along the left and right edges, but ill get to that, its perfect everywhere else. Can very easily read the text in Windows on 1920x1080 very sharp and clear.

Though I have the older version of nVidia 3D kit (162.50 stereo drivers + wired glasses from VGA dongle) I have zero ghosting with standard 1080i-96Hz timings (that was experimented by kschmit2 back then), just thought to share as an interesting result.

Mine are wireless yes, ive never done 1080i 96Hz, what timings are you using for that?

I have to ask cause on the newer nVIDIA drivers the default timings are changed in some cases.

When I used the integrated intel VGA I have used exactly the same numbers what kschmit2 posted in on old thread (what I don't find now), after I'm changed to nvidia those numbers are not recognized by the projector as same source, so after some playing I came up with this. The Barco has shorter retrace than the PG so it should do this fine too.
Otherwise I seem to remember Marc said the ghosting is a result of sync delay, because of the highly different path for glass driver and the monitor output, if so this timing will also be ghosting with your setup, so you also should try to add those 100 lines at the end.
I haven't noticed any shortcomings of using an interlaced resolution for 3D.
