I am about to retube my G70. plus intend to install a new screen going up from 110in to 120in

I am looking at a 4:3 format 120in side tensioned screen and there are two options for screen material.
The first is a PVC front, gain = 1.1
Or/-
2. Perforated PVC, gain = 2.5

As I do not intend to install speakers behind the screen, I really do not need a perforated screen, so do I just go with the 1.1, or it is worth a screen with the higher gain at 2.5?

I would appreciate some comments from forum members, thanks.

Why do you want a perforated screen if you're not going to be putting a speaker behind it? I have 2 samples for Seymour on the way, their 1.2 gain acoustically transparent "Center Stage" and their 1.3 gain non acoustically transparent "Glacier White". I'll post my opinions on them when they arrive. Hoping that the weave texture of the AT material isn't distracting, as putting the center channel behind the screen would be really nice.
