So there are given a set of marquee tubes that had ran 13000hrs. in standby, and in 3300hrs. in normal mode, no visual wear on phosphor. The G2s are at around 60 on all tubes, the color balance is right, but how many hours should we expect from the tubes?

Probably another 10K hours or so. the low G2 is the key. Emission with a good filament voltage tends not to die overnight on panasonic tubes. The Sony tubes in the BG808s are a different story, they can die within a week or two for no reason at 7000-12,000 hours.

I just retubed a barco 708 with 56,000 hours on the chassis. Those sets use the P16 tubes. Poor emisison, roasted phosphor, but there was still enough light to light up my screen.. but maybe at 300 lumens instead of the 1000 they are rated at.

Dang that's a lot of hours
I wonder if I will get that much from the set of p16's in my samsung tv(suckers already show some wear but not bad)if it even sees that much use

Also does anyone know how to reset the hour meter on the marquees(soon to be putting in mint 9inch tubes and want the hour meter to be exact)

FYI to the op my marquee has tubes like those with close to 3k hours and the green is showing slight wear the red and blue still look great(hadn't been setup right before I got it)
