I added the picture of my home theater to this page along with few links to CurtPalme.com, a long long time ago.
Since then, someone anonymously at removed the CurtPalme.com links and then added links to Greg's site. You can see it all in the history of the page by doing a step by step comparison.
For example, the following reference:
| Code: | | *Long service life, CRT tubes maintain good brightness to 10,000 hours.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.curtpalme.com/CRTPrimer_4.shtm|title=Curt Palme CRT primer|work=Curt Palme.com}}</ref> |
Was changed to:
| Code: | | *Long service life, CRT tubes maintain good brightness to 10,000 hours.<ref>{{cite web|url=www.eisemann-theater.com}}</ref> |
So they changed a link to a direct quote from our CRT Primer article to be instead be a reference to Greg's site, which doesn't make any sense, as the reference does indeed come from our primer.
Like Jeremy said, feel free to make any edits you like yourself but try to remain neutral/factual.
Greg's a funny character. Back when we featured and advertised Mike Parker's mods, Greg threatened to sue me if I didn't also list his mods. Not really sure how that logic works. Can you sue a store to force them to sell your products?
While we were selling Mike's mods, I had a sticky thread for Greg's mods here in the forum that linked to his site, just to be nice. It was direct competition and we got nothing for Greg's mods, but hey, I figured people would choose themselves what worked for them. After so many emails from Greg asking me to shut down the accounts of people who asked questions about his products in that thread (he found them slanderous [or more correctly libelous] but I did not), I had to remove all of his product threads he had started as it was the only way to stop his complaints.

I have spoken to Greg on the phone and he seems like a nice and helpful guy. I have always found it interesting that his forum persona seems so different.

MAN.....nothing against Eiserman OK....BUT....I believe the guy is crazy. He told a friend of mine to not even think of using a CRT that he got for 15 bucks unless it had HIS stuff in it. The way he presents himself and rubs does not surprise me in the least that Curt's site had been replaced by his. But then again some people here at work are tougher than they sound. I mean today there was someone who was rude to me in their email but in person did not come across that way. Otherwise I'd kick his ass!!

All I know is that Greg saved my ass about 18 months ago from losing $3K from a scammer that had some deep rooted mental issues. I may still have the guy's emails. I should post them....

Yeah, a lot of people are big hot-sh*t in-your-face ******* online, where there's no danger of getting punched in the nose for being such an obnoxious asshat. Funny how many of them have a totally different persona when they're within striking range.

Greg is a super intense dude and I suppose can seem strange. That being said, I've worked with him on a lot of stuff and it's always gone well. I've repaired a lot of G90 YA boards for him, bought tubes from him, sold him Barco parts, and exchanged hordes of information over the years. We often times spend insane amounts of time going over technicals on the phone.
He's also sent me a lot of Barco control board stuff in my effort to start repairing the 909 control boards. He's supposed to be sending me a Barco chassis extender... I gotta follow up on that.

I wonder if Greg actually changed the wiki or if someone else did it. I have one thought right away who might have done it...
