can someone walk me thru what to check, and how to roughly isolate what is causing me a error 35....I've read in the forum archive of AVS that it could be the E board, or a signal sent from the PA board causing the E Board to indicate a fault.

Could it be a tube or neckboard?

I've noticed quite a delay (when I last had it running) when switching video frequencies on the iscanHD+ the picture would swim go to no signal, and back...throw up a brief error 10, and then finally shutdown on an error 35.

I had been having a problem just prior getting the RGB size to match the internal genlocked test pattern. Prior to me setting up another resolution at 75hz the standard iscan 1080i setting easily filled the screen, then when I switched back to it the active image was much narrower than before, vertically was fine. I had been trying to solve the width problem and at the time of failure the RGB size for 1080i/50 was at max/max in the horizontal direction, and still not filling the screen. when I changed to 1080i/60 thats when it crapped itself.

Now I've not sure how long a G70 should take to sync to a new signal, but mine has always (upon reflection) taken quite a few seconds and flashing noise etc before it locks on to a new frequency...is this normal behavior, or is this something that may have been lingering for a while, and now got to the point of failure.....

Please I'm desperate for information, as I've only just had my g70 ceiling mounted for 3 weeks, after waiting 18 months to have it in it's own room, and now it's died.

I ended up replacing the "E board", a similar post has been resurected on AVS also, which goes into a bit more detail.
Cheers Dan
