Just got this player and having problems getting video to the 1208. Panasonic hdmi to hdfury2 in rgb mode to 1208 no signal. The player and hdfury works fine on my non hdcp plasma tv with vga connections. The 1208 works fine with other Blu-ray players and an hddvd player. The only way I have gotten it to work is putting the hdfury in yuv mode and running to an extron cvc100 transcoder to the 1208. Player is set at 2D 1080i. Any ideas? Thanks

Most likely a sync issue. The Barco needs negative sync only. Also, make sure the 24fps settings is turned off in the Panasonic's menu.

Yep, you are correct, it's a sync issue. I have an sc210 that has a really dim output but I can see an image. Does the fury3 allow for negative sync? Thanks curt.

I'd get a GammaX which is cheaper. The Fury3 does have selectable sync, or the GammaX has a switch on the side of it.

thing is, if you invert the sync, the other sources then may not work.

Or, get an Extron 202xi or 203 box that permanently outputs negative sync regardless of the polarity you send into it.

My gammaX must be dead I get no image with it hooked up, so I found a fury3 locally for 70.00 and I'm still having sync issues. The only time I get an image is when I switch from pos to negative sync using the dip switches on the fury in rgb mode as soon as I make the switch I get a perfect image for about 5 seconds and then the image drops out. WTH? Currently using the fury 3 in component mode to the extron cvc 200 transcoder and it works perfectly. I may just leave it this way.

Are you using an external power supply on the HDF?

Yes, the 5V 1amp supply that came with the fury. It appears to be a sync issue like curt said, just cant seem to figure out why it works if I use an extron sync controller but not the fury sync control. Thanks for the input.

Check the image shift on the HDFury3. Push and hold the image shift button one way or the other for 15 seconds to reset it.

Shift reset did not work, thanks for the suggestion. However, I found if I reset the sync on the fury during playback it will work properly through the rest of the movie. If I shut things down and restart I get no signal. I'm sticking with the extron components they seem to be just what the barco needs.

By "resetting the sync" do you mean flipping the DIP switch?

My only other sugestion would be to try centering the controls on the Barco for horizontal picture shift ( sorry can't remember what Barco calls them ) then try shifting the picture to match using the controls on the HDFury3. I have seen an offset signal cause a no sync condition.

As you say though. You can stick with the Extron stuff as it just works.

I just flip the dip switch from pos to neg and I get an image that is perfectly centered.
