I have had this Pioneer VSX-D704S AV receiver for about five years now. Great for regular stereo use (listening to it now) and simple AV switching.
Connected to the Pioneer are two Boston Acoustic VR-30s. These are my babies. They were a self reward after working in South Carolina. When buying them I did research, tested them, and took a leap of faith. All was bought secondhand and is in good condition.
Any thoughts on this equipment? Has anyone had these before? What would the next level be? Also, is there a way to improve what I currently have? (no pre-amp outputs on the Pioneer unfortunately)
