Hey Zap, you know I like to stir up the pot, but other than sheer marketing genius, what did he contribute? I'm being serious here. The Wave Radio is nothing more than a folded horn, which came out in the 40s or 50s. Ditto for the sub/satellite systems, those came out long ago.
Almost all Bose technology is based on a single driver (and variations of that single driver) that has the crap eq'ed out of it to sound OK. IN some applications is works great Bose model 32s in their pro line still are some of the best sounding ceiling speakers out there IMHO, but most of their consumer line, save for the 901s, sound like crap compared to other name brand products.
So educate me, what did he contribute, other than phenomenal marketing?

the key word in my post was "reflect"
it's a pun boy! perhaps too subtle, it escaped the crew over at tapeheads as well....
