So I can see the sony needs a little touch up. Its not off much but...well you know. My question is this I know to warm up each freq first but if I adjust 1080P in Say 16 9 do I have to adjust again in 2 35 ? Or just warm up and adjust 1080I seperatly?

Just warm up the unit on whatever you like, dont have to do it on every input.
You then adjust every input as normal.

So it dont matter if I tweak the zone on 1080P or 1080I ? OK does it matter which aspect ratio ?

You will most likely need to tweak all resolutions, since the Sony uses a different memory location per resolution. I'd also check all your hardware, as if everything drifted globally, something might have shifted mechanically.

Yeah check your lenses and focus nuts are tight and tubes are tight.
But yep, as Curt said and as i also meant above, youll need to do every resolution separately in terms of actual adjustment. They wont affect each other when you adjust.

Jeff,
When I setup your G90 we set your Lumagen to output 1080p 60Hz and 818x1920 72Hz. You only need to do these two resolutions and that is all. They are in separate memories in your G90. So first do 1080p 60Hz and then switch to 818p and let the projector run for another 20 minutes. Then do you 818p resolution.

I found my notes to tweak convergance, Its just like you said craig. My zone doesnt appear to be off. I have lost some sharpness in the image though, not sure why, maybe its just a bad day. Will check tomorrow.

Remember to use the test patterns from the Lumagen and NOT the G90 internal test patterns. The internal test patterns from the G90 are way off the mark.

I used the Lumagen test pattern, convergance appears ok but the blue on the right side bottom appears to be bigger lines than on the other side, It wont bother anyone but me,but still I seem to have lost some sharpness of the image somehow.

Yes they are. Nothing has moved. Its just not as sharp as it normally is. Public Enemy really shows a lot of detail in it, Not so much now.

I may have done that intentionally Jeff to make field uniformity better. Don't assume that it's wrong especially if you can't see it at the viewing distance. Blue focus won't have any impact on image focus as humans don't use blue to see resolution.
I really doubt that anything has changed Jeff, but you know the projector. If you change any of my focus settings be sure to write them down so you can go back.
First thing I would check is just regular electronic focus. I really doubt anything will have changed in the astig.
Remember when you had your screen come off the wall several inches a couple years ago? Could something like that have happened again.
Call me if you want to.

Screen OK, Everything tight, everywhere. All cables appear ok,swapped hdmi no difference. I have never adjusted electronic focus. I dont even know what it is, less alone the proper way to adjust it.

Just talked to craig on the phone. I will try to adjust focus as soon as I can find a pattern.

What i would do is copy the settings to a new input and tweak from there, this way youre not moving Craig's settings.

Damn ! I feel more dumb than usual today,go ahead and laugh. I got it coming. We went to the movies last night to see Ironman 3 in 2D. The first thing I'm thinking is why the hell do they got the contrast up so damn high, the next thing I notice is the image is soft. So I am watching the trailers waiting for the movie thinking the movie would look better as the lights would be lower and the aspect ratio would be proper. So the movie starts and the damn contrast is making me crazy. I take my glasses off and BAM ! the picture sharpness improves. So I go through the whole process putting them on and taking them off looking at the different scenes. Its obvious now its my new glasses.(progressive bifocals) I took them off and enjoyed the rest of the movie. Still not as good as Ironman 2. Go ahead laugh.
