I'm setting up a Marquee 9500LC with HT10GT30 lenses. It looks like the liquid in the green lens coupling has gone cloudy. I did mechanical set up, geometry and convergence and it looked fine. About 2 hours later I went back and the image looked totally fuzzy. The green lens looks cloudy, red and blue are fine - see photos. How difficult is this to repair? Do I need to replace the lens?
I really need to sort it urgently as it's for an exhibition which opens to the public next week.

So I reply to your post from here: http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=373278#373278

If your picture is more than 5 meters wide, (wide, not diagonal, but that won´t matter too much) - than you are vey fine with your GT30 lenses! A very rare case Smile

I do ship the bellows world wide.

Just click on the link bellow.

Check to see if the bellows are sweating or slimy .

If so I would change all three. and It is the best deal even if you are not using them all right now.

Shipping is included.

The Glycol wouldn't all of a sudden become cloudy over a period of 2 hours would it?
Is this an Electromagnetic focus issue? Or did the lens itself have some fluid in it which steamed up the lens internally?

I think you need to take the lens off and see whether it's the the lens itself, the Glycol, or the tube face

Yes, the glycol did turn cloudy over a few hours. So we had it changed but now I'm face with another problem. The tubes seem to be really bright and black is a light grey colour but if I turn down the brightness or adjust the G2 I lose all the detail in the dark areas. Colours are also not right.
