|

Hello,
The remote control of my C II- VPS 3100 is fully functional but no backlight anymore. I did open it and after a long inspection, even with a magnifying glass, i haven't seen anything wrong.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Hi, i had a similar problem when i first purchased my processor, well the bottom half (crystalio logo) didnt light. I fixed but not keen to dive back inside it for fear of it breaking again. But from memory...
The backlight is actually a double layer electro flourescent film that sits under the remotes front panel, but one of these is split betwenn the bottom(logo) and top(function words) of the remote. I think there are three wires that come of the main electronic pcb, one to a small spring(?) onto one of the films, the other two go the different ends of the split film. On my remote a wire had come away from the bottom film, accessed next to the battery compartment, i simply jammed it under the conductor.
Sorry i cant be of more help but i guessing the circuit in your remote probably works, likely that one of the wires come away, have a closer look
Good luck!
