Guys
I have a large pile of these tubes new (red and blue of course) and I need to know what projectors used these.

There are some notes for the LCQ's |
Wow, in the AVS post are 9" AC (!!!) tubes mentioned? Did I get this right? Anyone anything about it?
(I was thinking about using modern large panel digital projetor lenses on a CRT, because of the improvements in lens design resulting in absurd resolving capabilities (in trade for CRT LC contrast in this experiment). But using a lens from a digital will limit to the use of 8" tubes, as they are to my knowledge the biggest AC tubes. But nice to hear about AC 9" tubes, but as they are rare, I might do test on 8" AC or on 9" with the C-Element removed for a flat chamber glass. A problem might be that the normal 9" chamber is to thick to let a digital lens near enough to the tubeface. Anyone knows the size of a lens from a JVC Huges light valve projector...?)
