I am looking for a high quality DAC with a HDMI input to connect to port 3 on a Barco. I want to also use my Lumagen so the DAC can't do any image processing.

Perhaps multiple HDMI inputs.

The Lumagen has DVI output.

Does Moome Mux-HD have RGB on DVI output?

Any recomendation.

The new moome mux is strictly HDMI however if your Lumie has DVI then that can be used in an RGBHV configuration as well as Digital.
So use the new VF01(Mux) before the Lumie.

Thanks. I an older Mux-HD that has a DVI out and I am using that with my Lumi on its DVI in. I want to get a digital input as close to the projector as possible. I currently run DVI out of the limo into a DAC directly attached to the port 3 connector but it's an old unit made by wanman I think. So I wanted to update that unit.

I have a RGB to port 3 cable but as mentioned I am trying to get a digital path as close to the projector as possible. I have seen a modified port 3 board by GregEisman that has a HDMI input so it can be done I just want to get someone else to mod my port 3board.

Ok, WTS I think used a Marquee VIM HD and mounted it inside the PJ. its not that difficult if you think about it. The VIM HD runs on a 5 volt power source. So you could remove the front panel and some how mount the board inside and run the RGB off the Moome to your barcos internals.

Might take some tinkering. The moome ext hd would also work. same principle.

Right on. The Full-HD has been suggested and mount that directly to the port 3 board inside the projector but won't that be a problem if I want to run the Lumi as there would be 2 image processors.

The moome is really just a digital to RGBHV converter. and the lumagen is a processor you can use pass through mode on the lumagen so no scaling is done. You can still up he refresh and use the CMS .

In my blend i use four devices, the mix, the lumie the blender and then the VIM HD. pic looks great.
