So this question is still unanswered to me. I have a 1208s/2 I am going to be modding it with HD-145 lenses. I am going to be playing content from my monster htpc bluray player through a VGA to RGB cable. Has anyone here had experience with this barco model doing 1080p. I have the high resolution pt18-205 tubes in it and they are in great condition. Any comments or pointers?

My friend has a BG808 with PT18-224 tubes from a barco retrographics (LC) he left the original LC tanks with the original lenses on his small screen. It gives a very impressive 1080p picture.

I think it will look great if the convergence is nailed down and the focus is dialed in. Also not to mention the HD-145'S for the improved corner focus.
