I've been fighting a battle Of wills with an Ampro for about 10 months now. A customer gave me a Sony 1252 partly out of pity and partly out of finding a home for his PJ. He lit it up before I loaded it in the truck and it it worked. I'm lost. I connected RBG from from my DVD and that's as far as I got. The pj makes noise. The guns glow. What am I missing

Do you mean the component output or does your DVD player have a VGA out?

The 1252's are dead simple. Try S-video and see if you get a picture.

Yah green.
I have a few boxes for translating signals; maybe one of those?
I'm trying to take Curts advice for centering the picture on the screen. If I read correctly I want to fill (almost) the raster ,then centre what's projected onto my screen.
So: The PJ is hanging partway up to the ceiling and I've got the picture centred on the screen (left/right) and the picture mostly fills the raster when looking into the guns; the green is the only one very bright.
This is an RGB vs component issue isn't it?

Yes, you need a trascoder to go YPbPr to RGBHV or if your player has HDMI an HDFury or Moome card

2200 is great! Make sure you have your player set to 480p and 16:9 enhanced, widescreen etc...

2 little problems.
1) My screen is 5' by 9' so 123 " I run out of sideways adjustment for red and blue. That means I have to change spacers? And if so "anyone have some spacers?
2) With the pj hanging about 3 " from the ceiling and level the picture is about 3' low. Tilting the pj to move the picture is no problem but what about it being level? Is that not as important as the instructions say?
