Hello,

I guess I am too stupid: My Ultra is set to an east european language, with forein letters! When I press Utilities 5/5 I am on a menu that looks like it offers Deutsch/English, and I can jump between but not make tha Ultra to keep this setting. When I go back it is on Russian (?) menus. I would really enjoy this to be English or German, as these are my first Marquee steps.

How to acess runtime hours?

Thanks you for reading

A perfect to Pheonix!!! I did get the hours (below 1500 and 2500) and was finally able to change the language. Without out lenses on, it was easier to identify the current language in the runtime menu!

I could use some links where to start on an Ultra for checkeing the projector for faults (remember some kind of voltage thing), necessary mods and finally allignement/setup. I know it is all in the forum, and I guess I even read all of it when I only had a 1272, but I could use just a recommendation where to start.

Thanks again

Hello

No voltages to check in an Ultra, the filament problem was corrected. You should be able to download an owner's manual somewhere that covers the basics. We cover magnetics alignment here: http://www.etechvideo.com/techtips.htm Select 9 for magnetics.

So Tim in Pheonix, you are from that detailed etechvideo page. I often did read there to inform about Marquees, and by the serial and model numbers you provide on this page, I was able to identify that it is a boy, ähhhhhh an Ultra.
So thanks fpr your help here and on that page.
