TV/Projector: All of them!

OK, got a military type customer that gave me a serial number for a LV power supply. I sent them pix of a BG808s power supply, since they couldn't supply the actual board number. That was 6 months ago. Today I get the purchase order, and of course right on the PO is the part number I was looking for: 7690425.

I checked my split packs, and that number doesn't jive.

I've only seen a couple of 769XXX Barco part numbers, and they are usually out of retro sets. One 769XXX convergence board that looked identical to a 'normal' 1208 convergence board simply wouldn't work when the stock 762XXX board was put in, so I don't want to send them one of my SMPS boards if it won't work.

Any input would be great here.

I'll check this over the next two days.

Barco used to make various boards that were basically the same board with a few differences that made them not compatible, to deciding later with their replacement boards to make one board that would be backwards compatible to each of the confusing boards they used to make.

For the power supplies, the newer one would have a single part number that would replace maybe 4 different part numbers, that may not work in the later model sets, but can be modified to work.

When dealing with the parts, try to also get the year and "ART NR" (article number) - they are the real numbers that determine what Barco product it actually is, and that is who you determine what part it uses.
