OK, you few G90 hotshots! Just got this G90 in with an orange 60 error code. The CPU LEd flashes 88 at power-on as it should, but when you press the 'power' button, I get the orange 60, which according to Sony is an 'unknown' error code not covered by other error codes.
Gee thanks, Sony!
The only hint I can give is that there is zero signs of life when you push the power button. No relay click, no momentary spin of fans, nothing.
My guess is a power supply or CPU board issue. I have piles of spare boards here now, but I figured I'd post.
Any guesses?

From memory - If you un-plug any of the boards in a G90, that code will show. So make sure that all the boards are in place, and if they are, you have to run down the board that is not letting the CPU know it exist.

And if not that, since it is a protect code you should be able to check the output voltages of the power supplies and look for an incorrect voltage.

Well, this one threw me for a loop. It turned out to be BOTH power supply boards. Go figure. Just spent the last 2 hours messing with the set, and finally when I changed both power supplies, it fired up. Will work backwards now to see what failed on them.

You can get error 60 if your YA board is not properly seated or if a pin is bent or not making contact on the YA.
