Brand new runco 991 or a used marquee 9500? what would you choose? the marquee would come from the guy who was trying to help me out with my xg up in houston. only problem was it had glycol leaking from the tubes and h had to get new boards. I read the glycol leak is a fairly common occurance with the marquee. it also has a moome card installed already. he wants 2500 for it but could probably take it for 1500. the 991 is brand new in the box for 700.

Depends on the year of manufacture of the 9500 and the tube condition, and what lenses it has on it. If there's any tube wear, $1500 is high on the 9500. Heck, I've got a 9500 incoming with what I believe are good tubes that I need to go through, but with a warranty I won't want over $2K for it at this point.. I don't think.
