I have a Sony 1270Q with two IFB-12 cards. What is the best way to connect my Wii system to this projector? I have the YPbPr cable for the Wii.

The 1270 will not work with the IFB-12 cards I'm afraid, so you'll need an external component to RGB converter box.

Sony made some circuit or production changes with every other 12XX set that would let you mod the IFB 12 cards to work with a component signal.

I use one called HD Box Pro, I think. You can get them cheap on eBay. It works great for PS2 and Wii. It also deinterlaces and upscales, so it's better than running 480i/p into the projector anyway.

Yes, a step backwards for non-natively based 720/1080P based materials. Wii represents the low end in technology, but maybe they seek the children's corner, or those on assisted living.

Thanks. I did find quite a few on ebay and some other AV websites.

Fortunately for Mario/Zelda/Metroid games, there's no minimum resolution of fun.
