All -

Bottom line:
Anyone know where the EIKI crowd / someone-who-knows about using lenses from one model into another model? A friend as an LC-X2 with long-throw lens and wants to investigate re-use of that lens on another machine...new or used.

Details:
A friend of mine teaches HS physics and several years ago scored a few already-old Eiki LC-X2 PJs. One of them came with a long-throw lens and 400W bulb that he installed in his house. The lens lets him throw his image maybe 20ft and it is only a 72" wide screen. Folks sit about 9 feet away from the screen, so it works well-enough. His PJ is starting to wet the bed, overheating, bad PS, I dunno what exactly. Anyway, he wants to buy some other, maybe even brand-new, PJ that he can stash in a 23" deep closet shelf that will throw such an image.

thanks,
Matt
