Went Golfing today in St. George. Looking through the classifieds while waiting for a group to finish driving on the 8th hole and I see a Am pro 4600 for sale. Talked to the owner and it is in prime condition. Has 700+ hours and he loves the picture quality of it and does everything he needs if to do. All except for one thing. He says it is cosmetically un attractive in design. Beige in color and is an eyesore in the basement theater. I offered 50 bucks and will take it to my cousin. I asked him about using a hush box. He didn't know what it is. But he had already hung a Sony crt. So he hates it because of the exterior look!?!?....WTF???....I want to meet more like this guy.

Haha I head the exact same thing from a friend of mine on my Sony 1252 vs my Ampro 4000. He hated the 4000. UNTIL I fired it up. 
Nice score on the 4600.

Well I had heard marquees are ugly as well...could care less. As long as it works.....hell...take it to an auto body shop

My friend thought the very same thing about his $1 sony 1272Q, he loved the PQ for a $1 PJ but couldnt stand the color. He had me paint the top case a nice metallic grey/silver/brown textured paint, I have to say, it looks like something sony would have used on their old XBR CRT widescreens, really sharp as it goes great with the gray on the case. Hanging from the ceiling it looks awesome.
Apparently painting the case is out of the question for that guy eh?

Yes I am aware EB. Not sure if he knew. I am not even going to pick it up. Told my cousin his address and he took money and his truck over last night and picked it up. He will hang it in his basement. I probably will not see it until I visit him. next month. The time share is only 6 miles from his house....but I am on vacation and will not setup a projector when I can golf. Sorry to disappoint guys. I am not good at the game but love to play. Those of you that like to play know what I am talking about. But I do look forward to seeing my Moome Card this week when it comes in.
