I'm not finding any reference to a 67 error code... Are you sure it isn't 37? That one's very common.

What's the behavior?

As far as I know, there is no error 67.

He could be reading it upside-down (which doesn't make sense, as it would be L9), or he could be mis-reading it, or the CPU board could be throwing a bad error... But, I'd bet he's not reading it right.

Thinking about buying it for the tubes or something, or just helping him out?

But of course. That's the super rare 'you're effed' error code, and it's worth $50.

Heehee!

My screw up. I hit the button for the G90 instead of the G70. The guy said it had low hours, when i asked what he considered low hours to be he said "the little window had a 67 in it" I went looking for an error code for the G70 when the code is for a G90. It is an Orange 67 which from what I can tell indicates a bad vertical deflection board ?
Trying to get a few good deals a piece together a decent G90 as I cant afford to do much else right now. Not sure this ones worth it.
Shipping would kill me unless it really does have low hours on it and hopefully good tubes and YA board.

The seller yanked the auction and re listed the G90 with the error code 67 in the description. How big a fix is the (DF) vertical deflection board? Does Curt have a spare or repair?

*If it's the vertical board*

Could also be the power supply driving the V board, or the YA board that isn't sending the proper signal to the V board. (probably not the YA board, but you never know with a G90...

For those of you that have been videophiles for a long time you should know this unit! Just replaced my G90 for another projector. Unit has some intermittent lines on the screen...Local pickup only or buyer must arrange for shipping. Unit is in NJ(Bergen County)
Composite video scan lines? Laughing

Different G90 that sold for $700. The one with a code 67 is at $100 and 6 days to go.

Hey Ed, long time no speak! I'm out of town for the next week, but I think it is a bad V board. I do have stock, or can repair yours.

Let's check the tubes first when you get it, and you will also need a new Dallas memory chip, as the old ones can nuke the tubes if it fails while the set is on.
