|
|
I just installed the card into my 8111.
Selected source 02. (tried other source numbers too).
Tried both HDMI inputs.
Went from both my Yamaha receiver and direct from the PS3 to the card.
Lights on the card:
Link and Det lights on.
Status
1 2
3 4
5 6
Status lights 3,4 and 6 on with PS3. Just 4 and 6 with PS3 thru the Receiver. Lights 2 and 6 with DTV.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!

| there is no "source" on a marquee. There's inputs and channels. are you sure it's input 02 and not just channel 02? if your on channel 2 it could be any input assigned to it.
Go into Utility's, source set-up, channel list. Choose a channel like channel 5 for instance, scroll over and assign input 02, recall 05 . Now exit and push 5 + Enter

Well the manual and remote have "source." Anyway, I was doing it correctly, but for some reason for when selecting source/input 02, the contrast and brightness were turned all the way down. So no picture, doh! Have a prety good picture, just a little dark. But I'll have to wait until I'm back in town to look into that.
The manual for Moome's card says: "We can see the panel, there is two little pot, one for contrast adjustment (need
professional person to do this), another one use for gamma level adjustment.
Below is adjustment way"
"【Note】Please don't turn the contrast pot if you have no instrument to measure
white level. (The factory default is 0.7V for white"
So should I leave those alone or is that just for contrast pot?
"

Yes leave them alone. The were set at the factory. They shouldn't even be there really. If you adjust them you will change the Peak to Peak voltage {.07} needed to display full white and black, correctly. This would throw off your colors.
Do not adjust them

one thing I would do is set the output range to 0/255 instead of 16/235. I could not get a good CRT-like picture with the second choice which is the default
