Would there be any point in doing a stack with G70's ?

The subject line says it all, assuming you already had 2 PJ's.

I tried a G70 stack a few years ago. The only difference I saw was a bighter image. My images were overlaid, not a side by side blend. Get yourself a good 9" LC like a 9500 or G90

I was thinking about doing a stack or blend with my 9PG Xtra and my XG1100, but seeing as they are 2 different models (though they have similarities) I think it wouldn't be worth the effort. If I could get a spare XG I would try it.

So yes, DO IT!!!

In theory if you put the image side by side, couldn't the resolution be increased? Seeing as you could do say 960x1080 per projector for a full 1080p image...

At least I would think its possible, but I don't know for sure.. neat idea though!

Having done it here with two 9500s just for fun, with a quick 4 hour setup total, it kicks some serious butt. You lose a tiny bit of sharpness, but the brightness and punch is insane!
