A few of you who are my Facebook friends know that the farm has moved. We out grew our old place, and had no chance of expanding. Now we have a new property, I have a better chance of building my dedicated theater. I have decided that the screen will be ten foot wide 2.35 acousticly transparent.

Now I have to get serious about finishing the second 808. I still need a second set of hd18 lenses and c-elements. I also have to figure out how I want the stage to be. The room will be fifteen feet wide by nineteen feet deep (that's before the screen wall gets put in.I have some demo work to do before I can start building. I have to wait for the wife to give the go ahead, which shouldnt be hard since I have almost all of the equipment.

I will try to post some start pics. I have some parts to figure out, I would like to move the AC duct.

Did ya float the whole farm, livestock, buildings, turf and all down the Mississippi to a new location? Razz

HD 18- same as the Sony G70 lenses, right? I've got a set or two.

Do you have need for the retro 808 LC chambers that I have with Scheimpflug on them? I've got at least one set of those as well...

I already got a set of chambers from you, but I could use a set of those lenses.

And actually we moved up the mississippi, we are now ten miles east of our former location. Its been a big task that isn't quite done yet. We had to build fence for all of the live stock. We had to make a new chicken coop,(that is pink because thats what the wife and daughter wanted).

And Case, I have found out it is easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. But in this case she is right the theater has to wait so that we can get our bread and butter situated in the new place.

Since I have bought most everything to do a blend, I am planning on that route. I may change my mind but that is going to be the plan for now.

Adam - Where are you located? If close enough, I might be able to help you set up a blend. I have made most all of the mistakes possible when I did mine, so Hopefully I could be of some help if I learned from them!

Bob, I'm on the eastern side of Iowa. It may be awhile before I do get to the point where I am ready to attempt the blend. I figure it will be sometime next summer at least.
