hello

i have an epson tw4400 projetor

im verry sure my bulp is broken.

suddenly i heard a noice, and then the light from the projetor stopped. and the waringlight for the lamp started to flacsh on the
projetor

i looked in the manual of how to change it.

it sead something like this:

Insert the supplied screwdriver
of the replacement lamp into
the lamp cover opening switch,
then remove the lamp cover

and on the pix i could see some kind of spesial tool? that i need to use to get the of the lamp cover ,to get inn and
change the bulp.

and the place where to put in this tool was on the backside of the projector. where the connectons is mounted on.

but should that tool come with the projector paccage??
beacouse there was not that cknd of tool on mine.

so i dont have it.

realy need help from you experts

thanks a billion

I've bought one aftermarket bulb off eBay with no problems, but I don't really work on them, so I can't say that everyone has had good success with the ones on eBay.

I'm bumping this because YES a bad bulb can make the image worse, or fail prematurely...wasting your money.

Who's got reliable bulb sources?! I've a friend with an Epsom who needs a bulb, too.

I want them to avoid getting scammed on eBay.

Cheers,
John

I've only bought two on eBay, but both worked fine. I have heard horror stories though.

Just stay away from the 'bulps'.

John,
There are some guys buying aftermarket bulbs over on AVS. I don't remember where they are getting them, but you should be able to find it. I thought Epson bulbs were $200 a pop.
