I have a spare NEC XG135LC with only 300 too 400hrs on the tubes and chassis.
It has a problem with the red tube in that it cannot be focused. I am pretty well across all the advanced setup procedures for these projectors, yet still stumped with this problem. Instead of a 1mm wide line it is a 1cm wide line. Originally when the problem first started the projector was fine at startup, however as it heated up, the red tube would slowly get out of focus. Now it is permanently out of focus.
Anyone had this problem before....?
I have a perfectly good XG installed in my cinema, so I can check the other one by switching some cards if needed.
Thanks heaps!

Hi,
I think it can be the F-board, try to swap to see if really that is the problem.

being heat related like that first thing that comes to mind is an STK chip issue. I seem to recall this being not un-common on the XG's?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I actually head back OS for a few months this week, so will have to try swapping a few cards when I return. Advice noted with thanks. Cheers
