HI,

SO I have had great fun lately with changing the opamps on my VIM and I am wondering if anyonw has ever tried replacing the CLC415 (U15) and the MC34074 (U16)?

I had great results replacing an MC34084 (U8) with an OPA4134 and was wondering if this would work to replace either of those quad opamps?

THanks

GOd bless...
Mark

I would like to get back to this a little later now that I'll have a little time this week to hang around.

Fow now, that CLC415 is not going to be an easy chip to replace.

I'll get back later.

It is slightly improved version of the TL074 opamp, as I know, so basically you can compare to that.

Is a good place to find old datasheets.

I actually thought he was kidding. I had no problem finding a datasheet.

Besides the opa amps the TLE(excalibur) series op amps work great to replace any of the MC style op amps. replace the TL071 with the OPA or TLE version as a nice replacement.
