Still have the old girl now 17 years old !!!!! shes racked up over 6500 hours in that time, still gives stunning 120 inch image @ 720P from HD Fury from PS3 and tubes still no visible wear (o:
One thing I have oftern wondered is what the comm port could be used for on the rear of the projector
I know the settings for it as when in serviceman mode and on last page below the CRT usage timer is the comm port baud settings etc.
Just wondered if a laptop could be connected to it and what sort of data it would stick out via hyper terminal or even if there is a software program that could be used to set up the PJ via a laptop ???
Also would the lead be standard 2 ->3, 3 -> 2 and 5 to 5 basic 9 pin D-TYPE serial lead ?
