It brings back memories for me. When I was in high school I used to drive into Pittsburgh and spend hours at the high end audio emporium listening and drooling over a double pair of KLH 9's driven by Mac's flagship monoblocks and preamp. I really think they would hold their own even today. An old Crown open reel with some master tapes was the preferred source.
