That was through the mid 90's.

And still going today.

I work with digitals and I personaly use CRT I doubt if digitals actually replace CRT but of course you can use a digital in place of a CRT and if you choose to do that enjoy. I will continue using CRT for as long as I am interested in it.

I didn't like it over there anyway. This is where all the CRT people are. They finally stopped the slow motion trainwreck and called it a divorce. I would just let it go.

Actually it is on life support. When VDC stops the production line, there will be no more new pjs only used. That is ok, because they can be repaired and refurbished for years. Of course, digitals continue to get better. I still believe there will be an affordable 4k pj by the middle of the decade. This will probably be the last straw for almost all CRTers.

Seriously, what's the point in posting? Same arguments over and over and over. The only tiime I get annoyed about it is when someone that used to be a CRT owner comes over here and shits all over us that have them. Then I take it personally, and I hire a boatload of monkeys to fling the poo right back at them. Smile

That's what "trunk monkeys" are for. Yes, there really are trunk monkeys. Try your search prowess Wink

Not me. I'll buy 4k when I can get it off Craigslist for $50 bucks. Even then I'll STILL run CRT. Of course by that time the digital's will likely be sold as "Projector works just needs bulb" Laughing
