Anyone have any thoughts on modifying my 9500lc to get guns to aline at about 85". I can achieve good focus on the green gun at that distance, so I'm thinking thats not an issue. I'm limited though on swinging red and blue to achieve mechanical alinement. So I guess my question would be if I do modify the chassis to allow alinement will I end up with other "worms" so to speak, side focus issues, or anything else thats not coming to mind. any commits would be much apprieated.

I'm currently running a 9500LC in a temporary space with a short throw - I think 90-92"? I'm unable to completely converge the last line on either side but I live with it for now. The chassis I'm running now is a bit beat up so that might have something to do with it...my "real" PJ is a nice clean chassis Smile

Hello

The clamping bolts can be removed to allow maximum tube pivot but the neckboards will hit the inside sheet metal soon after, so I am not sure such a short throw was ever intended for the design. I would expect to run out of range for convergence in the corners also.

Hello,

I did a lot rp to fp(4m screens) conversions. They where all LC without Scheimpflug, but I could compensate all angles with rubber washers between lens an LC housing. That allowed me by turning the screws harder or softer, to tilt the lens slightly. Achieved perfect overall focus in all setups. So if your Scheimpflug does not allow you to use these small screen sizes, add washers or rubber washers.

Best regards from Munich
