The owner of our company wants to simplify his tv setup at this house. I went out a few months ago and setup a Harmony remote to control everything and that has helped but he had a mess to begin with. He has a flat screen in a cabinet and all the components behind wooden doors. The company that installed it put an ir receiver on the outside of the cabinet and then that signal went into a splitter and he has ir emitters taped on the front of all his components. Everything barely fits in the cabinets and the cablings a mess. I went by tonight because it wasn't working and found the emitter that controls the receiver went bad. I was thinking an all in one with a DVD or maybe Blue Ray player would work best. He does have a shelf above the flat screen that currently has the front surrounds and center speaker sitting on it. I thought one of those sound bar speakers would work there as he wants to get rid of the subwoofer that is hidden behind a chair. He has money so that is not much of an issue. Any suggestions?
