I have some probelms starting my 1292. After switching it on the tubes fired up but
no starting screen is showing. I have two IFB11 cards installed and on both the red LED is on.
Somehow the projector seems to stuck in the initialization procedure. No error is shown.
I don't have a clue what could cause these problems.
Is anyone around who has an idea what the problem could be?
Every help is appreciated.

Well after a lot of search I have found the problem, it was a short in the wired RC. Unfortunately it damaged the SIRCS controller and perhaps other parts on the Y-board. After exchanging the Y-board everything was fine again. Perhaps this is helpfull for someone facing similar problems with the 1292.

Cheers!

I remember when I had a couple of 1292's. After a complete cleaning, a small piece of tissue paper had snagged a corner of one fan, smaller than a finger nail and locked a fan. Spent considerable time until I found it!
