Hey Guys,

Thanks to Curt for pushing me over the edge and convincing me to pickup some vintage JBL speakers I now has a L/C/R setup that consists of two JBL 4311B monitors for the L/R channels and either one or two JBL L100 speakers as a center channel.

Curt was right about these speakers, I'd rate them as probably the single best improvement to my HT!

Now I need to find some speakers to use for the rear channels as I'm going back to a 5.1 setup after running 2.1 Shocked for the past year or so.

My room is unfortunately pretty cramped and is also multipurpose so I don't have space for another largish pair of speakers to use as rear channels. I need something that can easily be wall/ceiling mounted and Ideally not be more than 3-4x the size of Bose cubes.

Any suggestions? I'm happily spend around $100/pair for these and would be willing to open the budget up a little if I could be convinced it would be worth it.

Seriously, almost anything. The bandwidth of what the rears reproduce is really limited so you're not reproducing the full frequency spectrum anyways.. About the only criteria that would be good is that they be dipole, so that the speakers don't fire at your ears directly.

If you want cheap and nice sounding and vintage, Realistic Minimus 7s were always a favorite of mine, and Visonik Davids are really nice sounding as well. Neither are dipole though.

BTW, if you have the room, double up on the center speaker with one pair of those JBLs.
