looking to save some receivers from the scrap pile if they have any uses to any one..
I have two dish network 522 ( echostar de05) one has never been power up. I may have remotes also.
these are multi room dvr.
also I have a dish network 811 hd box.. but it does not have hdmi. it does have dvi output.
they have been collecting dust in my basement for several years and have no idea if they are useful anymore..

I assume you've checked eBay to make sure they're not worth anything to a larger audience...
If you recycle them, at least strip the drives - somebody might be able use those if nothing else.
