Hi there,

I have an HD Fury 2 which I hitch up to my PS3 to a Sharp projector. Gaming is fine and it plays DVDs fine but when I put in a certain Blu ray discs the projector doesn't recognise that there is anything coming in though the input and just diplays the projectors default screen. Some BLU rays play fine, others don't. Any ideas anyone??

Cheers

John

I know your post is a month old, but... Was this a sudden "change" problem, or have you always had this? I had been doing fine until last night when I tried playing a blu-ray on the PS3 through HDfury 2. Had been running for two years previously without any hitches. So ditto to the question above.

If you can see your PS3 menus and play DVDs, but just can't play a Blu-ray, the most common reason that happens is that the PS3 is set to output 24hz on BD playback...

Settings -> Video Settings -> BD 1080p 24 Hz Output (HDMI) -> Make sure it's "Off", not "On" or "Automatic".
