|
|
When I play around with the IRIS3 system on my Runco (Barco 708) it displays the image(s) shift too far to the right. I can see this on the tube as well. Is there a menu or pot somewhere that centers the IRIS on the tube face? My rasters and service menu screens are properly centered on the tube face. Any ideas? I don't need this thing to work, it's just a curiosity at this point.
Thanks.

Have you gone into the IRIS setup menu? There is a procedure
to define your screen edges, and another to set the camera focus, etc...

Oh yes. Done all that. It thinks the camera is centered and focused.

I should add, it's not that it doesn't work, it does, but the horizontal bars spill off the right hand side of my screen...

Did you set the upper, lower, right and left green bars to the screen edges?

I can do that with the top and bottom bars (and they seem well centered in the default position), but the left and right ones seem to move only has a pair towards or away from a reference point that is not in the middle of my physical screen.

Can you move the horizontal "reference centerpoint" by adjusting the Horz. camera angle?
I have been through this issue before, but its been a while and I am rusty, can't recall exactly....

Barco never really finished the IRIS project they were just keeping up with Electrohomes ACON.
did better than sony
Set the horizontal image as best you can but use the top and bottom properly
