One could spend $100 or spend $10,000 when buying equipment to do projector calibrations. The problem is the range is from lite-hobbyist to professional occupation and everything in between. For someone spending (or willing to spend) $300 what can be a good recommendation and be trustworthy?
My concern with trust came up when someone in this forum compared results between two or more systems and did not get correlating results. That is a concern to me in that how can one trust a result, from their own efforts or those of someone doing the work for them?

If around $300-$400 is your budget, I'd go with an Display 2/LT PRO with ChromaPure.

Everyone we talk to keeps telling us how easy and straightforward ChromaPure is is to use. For something you do once a year or so, you want it to be straight forward.
The Pro version of the Display 2/LT is pretty darned accurate for the price. It takes the regular Display 2/LT and offsets are created for use with ChromaPure using a reference JETI Specbos meter. This is something I'd recommend doing yearly ($90 and includes return shipping) as the meter will drift. Think of it as your regular HT maintenance.
