After I wrap up some maintenance issues on my 9500LC, I'm thinking of picking up a Vision One case. I've just read some older threads that discussed issues with them fitting properly. My understanding is that Vision One's all came with GT-17 lenses while my 9500LC has HD-10L lenses. Am I likely to run into problems or can I adjust the case to compensate?

Thanks,

Justin

If the case was already fitted to another projector, you should have no problems fitting it to yours. It's the new made cases that take
a lot of fitting and finishing work...about 40 labor hours from the time they come out of the mold until they're fully fitted, finished,
and the PJ is ready to ship.

The HD-10L and GT17 lenses are physically identical in terms of size and shape. The case front will thus work with either, no problem.

The lenses are the same diameter and size, so no issues there. SOme of the chassis are a PITA to fit though.

I got your last email, but I'm way behind in answering...

Hello

You will likely have to drill a few holes into the frame, using the Vision nose piece as the template.

It looks like I won't be using the Vidikron front nose plate that covers the LVPS/HVPS either (keeping the standard Electrohome aluminum cover). The top, side and back covers are all that I'm really concerned with, therefore it looks like I should be okay.

Regards,

Justin
