gents,

it seems there is a problem coming with the green of my cine 8

it fades out on port 3 and also on port 5, the green is fading out somewhere in the picture(lines are tropping out)

its is flashing just until the green is gone, when a press the menu the green has no problem(the green shows no problem) its just when viewing a picture.

when i switch from port 3 to port 5 and back the green is back.

is there a bigger problem groing or is it a bad contact

thkx for the input

rik

Sounds like problem is in switcher card or it's connection to driver board.

Unplug projector from mains, remove video switcher board and it's coax connector to driver board. (quad decoder in curt's picture)

Install back and see if this fix problem.

If not, then it's bigger problem than just bad connection. Most probably bad switcher board.

Does this projector have contrast modulation or soft edge blending?
I had a very similar issue where one colour slowly disappeared.

If you have SEMU (Soft Edge Module Unit) or Contrast Modulation boards, you can see relative options in the menu.
