I just bought some tablet notebooks that I am kind of stoked about. They are Gateways from three years ago. Unfortunately, there is no OS on the hard drive as it was wiped. One is going to my mother for Xmas and I will play with Meego and Ubuntu Netbook for her. For work, I need XP though. Since XP is no longer sold, does anyone know of a way to get XP tablet? I have a copy of regular XP, but it would make work a little easier with a tablet OS.

Are they tablets or netbooks? Quite different things, to me. BTW, are you sure XP cannot be bought?

If the netbook has 512mb ram, have you thought of putting windows 7 on it?

I would assume he means "Tablet Edition" of XP. I have never seen that for sale as a standalone purchase.

Dale and Wan,
They are not netbooks. I wasn't born yesterday. This is what I bought.

The Amazon link didn't have the tablet version.

Greg,
I think they did start selling it at some point, but I guess it doesn't matter now.

Gary,
Thanks a bunch. I will check out those links.

If you were born yesterday would you have matured enough to know so? Razz
