I removed the CC board since I dont really use that feature and I noticed that the LEDs on the CLM board blink. Is this normal ? What are those LEDs on the CLM supposed to indicate ? So tell me guru's if I can use this information to make the picture better Smile

1. These are not the diagnostic LEDs at the back of the unit and no errors are shown there.
2. This is the green and red LED under the daughter astig board. They seem to be doing a 3 second cycle. On-Off-Off. Source was connected.
3. I tested with another CLM and both have the same symptom.

I did notice a wavy squiggle on the screen and it seems to follow the same pattern.

Setup is a marquee 8500 connected to an HDFury1 to Lumagen HDP Pro. I am outputting 800p@48 to the projector.

Thanks,

Azi

The sink timings need to be larger than 1us if not you'll get squigglies on vertical lines.

Adjust your sync in the lumagen. I think tis the H sync that causes it.

Here is a neat program that lets you see what yu timings will be, its for the TV -One scalers but you can add the lumagen values in it to see what the timings will end up at and also help you set up other resolutions.

Wow Nashou, great suggestion. I used your program to set the sync and porch values and he squiggly lines went away. Also the image now occupies more space on the raster. This means that I can lower the contrast once I have moved the projector forward. So possibly a brighter image at lower contrast

Horizontal size was previously set at 90, now without moving the projector it is at about 45. I am glad I asked!
