Does anyone know what the maximum angle the unit can be tilted at and still be able to correct the keystone effect?

cheers

I think some experimenting with PJcalc may give you the answer. You can download it in the manuals and downloads section for the G70 on this site.

I think it is recommended no more than 15ish. The G70VR I think had more electronic correction. The more tilt, the harder on stability and less phosphor gets used. It may be possible to modify that adjustment with a resistor like the marquee squeeze mod to get more permanent range but I would not recommend anything but standard tilt (default angle level on bracket, 11degrees?) to maximize phosphor usage.

Id be mounting lower and tilting the front up if anything, all youll do be pointing the front down is wear the phosphor on a bad angle which will mean you wont be able to set it up with the same tubes and stay in the wear patern later without moving it too far back and using less phosphor.

The squarer you get it on the tube faces the better.
