EVERYONE has seen it, why do you think its gone so high without any confirmation of tube condition ?
If this was a commercial install, I'd be VERY leery of buying anything without confirmation of the tube condition. I've seen XG's with under 1000 hours have burned tubes because of uncaring commercial intalls. I had one 852 with less than 1000 hours on the set and a damn logo burned into the f'ing green tube....
This *might* end up a decent deal, but its already way too expensive for an unknown condition projector, if you ask me...

Calm down, Elaine!!!! I need to sell my G90. Besides the seller said the tubes are good and it has only 490 "legit" hours on it. Of course, he doesn't want to take off the lenses and take a picture.

I can't imagine you'll have any issues selling your projector, its a known quantity from a regular contributor, pretty much the exact OPPOSITE of what is being discussed...

Well, if I was selling something I had no idea about, I wouldn't start taking it apart either. Obviously someone walked them through how to get to the hour meter, and they responded to the question. The seller is legit, and if I was selling surplus, then so is not taking the lenses off.
I still say it gets relisted, I don't trust a high bidder of '1' f/b.

Thanks, Elaine! I have went from nervous to relaxed to nervous to relaxed with these 909s and G90. Honestly, now I don't care if I had to keep them as I would just put one in every room in the house. As I talked to Nash and his enjoyment of CRTs, I think it gave me perspective that this is still a hobby for me and the money I have into these isn't going to break me. Yesterday, I broke down a G70 and forgot how much I liked playing with them.

Spanky Ham: And if it ever comes down to it where you're just looking for good homes for some of your beloved projectors so they get the attention they deserve, I'd volunteer to take any one of your projectors off your hands, even the lowly G70...

The second highest bid came from The Netherlands, there was a shipping quotation too
Maybe the seller tried to raise the price or it was a stupid silly fun bidder
