Can someone help to identify the cause(s) of no picture?

The phenomenon is like:
1. The projector could be powered on and when pushing "ADJ" button, the screen shows with beautiful internal pattern.
2. When selecting RGBHV, S-video or Video input, the RGB switch card LEDs changes accordingly, but there is always no picture. And when looking into the CRTs, at the bottom section of CRTs, there are lights moving horizontally.
3. I replaced one quad decoder sent by Curt, but still the same situation.
4. When switching to internal pattern, the red LED on sync vertical board disappears. When switching among channel 1, 2 and 4, the situation turns to be like described in the 2nd point.
5. When projector is on, on the controller there are LEDs showing on Standby, Main power, Processor cycles and Block match.

Thanks a lot for any hints provided and suggestions to replace board(s). [img][/img]

With an input signal applied what happens when you push the text button on the remote ? On input 5 (RGBHV) I assume you are inputting negative sync.

For RGBHV negative or positive, I have to check the converter to make sure. But putting aside RGBHV, I also did S-video and Video. These don't work either. There must be something besides RGBHV. I've never pushed for Text button, since there is nothing on the screen for any display.

There is no message of text at all. The inside CRTs are just like very very dim color with horizontal scanning going on. Since the CRTs can not be on (dim and h scanning), there is not any display showing. Only when the projector is going on "ADJ", the three raster is on with adj menu, but no text message at all. Do you have any hints? Thanks!

Do you have a spare video/RGB switcher board you could try or for that matter any spare 808 boards ?

http://www.curtpalme.com/Barco808_Layout4.shtm

Also try cleaning the contacts and or re-seating all the boards. Check the cable from the RGB switcher to the controller. The RGB switcher board communicates with the controller and that's why I asked you to try the text button on the remote. What firmware # is written on the controller e prom and do all the serial #'s match on the boards ?

Here is a link to the board if it turns out to be the culprit. You never did say whether you've ever had this projector working properly....

Thanks!
The projector works properly before it came to something like this. I am going to try another switcher in coming two days. Nothing has been moved or swapped before problem came. All LEDs on switcher board were on and they respond to the corresponding input selection. I will try and post results.
