If you do, I have a question for you: Will it loop-play a single file or playlist?

I need something that will loop-play a clip (or multiple clips) for an exhibit application. All the digital signage products are really expensive, so a WDTV or the like would be super sweet. I need something I can slap a USB key into with a 720p mp4 file on it.

Thanks,
SC

RTFM, huh?

Thanks, Greg!

I think I'll order one to test.

Steve If all you are doing is using it for a exhibition, where are you doing this? If it is in my direction you can grab one of mine and use it. If you like it we can discuss it later.

Piss off, Greg. Would you like me to go back and start searching old threads for questions you asked that could have easily been answered by a quick google search? Wink

Thanks, Adam... That's very generous. This is for a client, actually. I'm shooting video at a trade show and posting YouTube videos several times daily and the client wants to run previous videos for when the subject of the videos isn't doing anything particularly interesting. They're planning on three LCD/plasma displays, so I already recommended one or three WD TV HD boxes and USB keys for us to load the video on. I'll probably order one tomorrow to test next week and make sure it's good to go with the 1080p mp4 videos we'll be producing every day.

Thanks, guys! Yes, even you Greg. Wink

I had never seen that before and I thought it was a pretty fitting forum tool for people who are too lazy to do it on their own.

Their re-certified, but they work.

I thought the mini didn't support HD...but now I can't find anything.

Does it output 1080i over component?

I would go with a version with HDMI out as a minimum.
